About Classic Car components

The company was founded in 1991 by John Taylor and a team with a passion for classic cars and extensive experience gained by supplying vehicle manufacturers. From our early days of relatively simple turned parts we have progressed by investment in CNC turning and milling but just as importantly Investing in people. The team has developed by introducing new skills and processes together with the transfer of knowledge to our successors. The combination of our modern manufacturing equipment, conventional plant and traditional skills together with our network of specialist forging, casting, stamping, pressing, laser cutting and rubber moulding partners gives us the ability to meet the requirements for a wide range of parts.

John Taylor was born and brought up in South West Birmingham, both his father and grandfather were "Austin" apprentices at Longbridge, so you could say he has engine oil in his blood. During his early career he was involved in the manufacture and supply of parts for the following vehicles:
